La Voz de Gilroy

La Voz de Gilroy is a community journalism initiative that is youth-driven, bilingual, and empowers community members in East Gilroy to share stories and perspectives about important issues in their community.  Over the course of the semester, youth create print, photo, and video news stories that are published online, on local cable, and on partner websites.  It’s a great opportunity for youth to learn journalism and multimedia skills, grow their resumes, and make a difference in the community.
