Executive DirectorBecca King Reed has an award-winning background as an executive producer of television magazine shows, news programs and documentaries. Prior to joining CMAP, she spent 6 years supervising the day-to-day operations of public television station, KQED Silicon Valley (formerly KTEH) which included fund-raising, community involvement, and leading the editorial team. Raul is a strategist, storyteller, and designer who strives in community engagement. He obtained a bachelors degree from the University of California- Riverside in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. During his undergrad he studied Global Emerging Markets at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Previously, he’s worked at the Community Foundation for San Benito County as a Digital Media Specialist. Raul is a San Benito County native.
Youth Media Instructor
Tim Olimpio spends most of his days teaching audio engineering at various alternative high schools. He also leads after-school programs designed to empower at-risk youth with technical skills and positive self-expression through the craft of music recording and writing. Tim’s 10+ years of experience includes: professional studio internships, running and operating his own recording studio, video production, developing youth programs, and trying to find time to create his own art. As an artist, Tim understands the personal and communal growth that music and art can facilitate, and wishes to spread this passion with youth in our communities.
Program Director / Senior Producer
Ian manages day-to-day operations at CMAP. He also produces videos for our Pro Services clients, leads workshops with youth and adults, and builds partnerships in the communities we serve. Prior to joining CMAP, Ian spent eight years as a documentary video producer and editor, working on projects for PBS, MSNBC, and various nonprofits. He has worked extensively in classroom settings – both as a filmmaker and a teacher – and has a background in improvised theater and video. Contact Ian ›
Videographer & Editor
Eugenia joined CMAP in August 2015 after graduating from Cal State Monterey Bay with a BA in Cinematic Arts & Technology. She had the opportunity to write, direct and produce her first short film: HUGO, in 2015, as well as some short school video projects. She is now working with CMAP as a Videographer & Editor. Adilene Jezabel Moreno
Youth Media Maker Intern
Adilene is a Youth Media Maker Intern with CMAP TV. She began learning photography and video production during the Youth Media Works Program in the summer of 2016. Adilene’s goal is to pursue a Bioengineering major with a minor in Computer Science at University of California, Riverside once she receives her high school diploma. She also participates with the non-profit organization, SIREN, which offers immigration education for the community. At the moment Adilene works at Sushi Omakase as a sushi chef and aspires to eventually own a vegan restaurant.
Media Services Coordinator
Josh has 16+ years of experience with community media in the Bay Area. His experience includes everything from pre-production planning to post-production to on-air playback, and everything in between. As an optimist, Josh is one of the easiest people to get along with. He enjoys teaching members of our community how to jump into story telling using modern digital media technologies. He is also a big fan of all things sports, music, and cooking. Contact Josh ›
Since 1994, Denise has had her own accounting and tax practice in Gilroy, California. As an independent business owner, she obtained experience in maintaining monthly accounting records for various companies that include nonprofit organizations, preparing sales & use tax returns, processing payroll and related quarterly returns, as well as assisting individual and corporate clients with tax planning and preparation. Youth Media Maker Intern
Jessie joined CMAP in 2015 during the summer for an internship and has filmed at some community events in Gilroy like “National Night Out,” “Party in the Park,” etc. Jessie has experience with media based on her own social media and educational projects. She hopes to study child development after she graduates from high school.
Kelley joined the CMAP team in June 2015 and brings many years of knowledge and experience from her previous career in the Learning Development organization at IBM. Kelley is a long standing local resident of Gilroy and enjoys community involvement.
Kelley is currently responsible for the office coordination at CMAP and is happy to be working locally in her community.
Video Production Technician
Leo Romero is a graduate from the Art Institute of Silicon Valley. During his undergrad he studied video, film and game design. Leo’s passion is to tell stories through 3-D characters. A fun fact about Leo is that he loves to draw, read comics, and every once in awhile go on wild adventures.
